A working team of the Hanoi’s Me Linh District Police in collaboration with the local authorities on August 24 to grant free ID cards to 200 residents in Quang Minh commune, with a majority of elderly people, students and workers.
During the program, the police officers also granted dozens of temporary residence permits to students and workers dwelling in Quang Minh commune.
They also held a public meeting to provide information about crime prevention and combat and issues related to citizens' documents (issuance of ID cards, permanent residence registration and so on) in Quang Minh commune.
With their high sense of responsibility and devotedness to people, the police force in Me Linh district will visit and issue ID cards to other people at their places in the coming time.
