PSNews - The Vietnam - Japan Student Cultural Exchange Festival and Japan Job Fair 2019 took place at the University of East Asia (Da Nang) on March 21. On this occasion, Japanese companies Suganuma, Eiseikai, Aijinkai and M&K awarded 1,200 scholarships of up to VND 12 billion to students of the excellent academic grade.
The festival also featured the Japanese cultural space and saw impressive performances by Japanese artists. Other highlights of the festival included performances of Vietnamese girl band SGO48, inspired by Japanese AKB48, and the mini football tournament between Vietnamese students and Japanese IT enterprises based in Da Nang. Some 20 booths of Japanese recruiters at the festival offered hundreds of occupational opportunities and internship positions working in Japan to local college students in various majors.
The job fair was a real opportunity for Vietnamese students because they could work in Japan if they were recruited by Japanese firms.
This is the second time that such a festival has taken place in Vietnam.
On the sidelines of the festival, a seminar on cooperation in human resource development also took place with the participation of Japanese experts. By Duy Tien
