Deputy PM works with Traffic Police Department
Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety, on January 18 worked with the Traffic Police Department.

The event also saw the presence of Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
According to Lieutenant General Vu Do Anh Dung, Director of the Traffic Police Department, the number of traffic accidents as well as the number of deaths and the number of injuries caused by traffic accidents reduced 7.27%, 6.24% and 5.06% respectively in 2019.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh applauded the efforts and achievements of the Traffic Police Department.
He also asked the Department to effectively and drastically implement all tasks and measures stated in Conclusion No. 45 of the Party’s Secretariat, Resolution 12/NQ-CP of the Government and action plans of the National Committee for Traffic Safety and the Ministry of Public Security.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh also urged the Traffic Police Department to increase patrols, resolutely handle violations of traffic regulations, effectively implement Decree 100 / ND-CP of the Government stipulating various penalties for road and railway traffic offences.
The Deputy PM also vowed to give further directions to complete traffic legal documents, creating appropriate and suitable legal foundation for the work of ensuring traffic order and safety.
