Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and his wife Nechama toured Ha Long Bay today (Mar. 22), as part of their official state visit to the Southeast Asian country.
During his visit, Rivlin seeks to strengthen Israel’s relations with Vietnam. The Israeli President wrote in his Facebook page that the state visit will promote prosperity and growth of both countries.
They were welcomed by Vu Thi Thu Thuy, vice chair of the Quang Ninh Province People’s Committee who commented that he was positive this visit will promote trade with Israel, open doors, and strengthen the economic ties between the countries.
The President and First Lady will leave Quang Ninh Province later in the day and continue to Ho Chi Minh City for the next leg of their visit.
