Public Security Newspaper praised as key press agency in fighting hostile forces

Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Information and Education Le Manh Hung on June 17 led a delegation to visit and congratulate the Public Security Newspaper on the occasion of the 94th Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2019).

At the meeting, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper briefed the Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Information and Education on the newspaper’s new organizational structure and social activities as well as its information service in recent times.
According to Major General Pham Van Mien, the Public Security Newspaper currently has 6 print publications and online editions (Vietnamese, English and Chinese).
In the context of fast development of science and technology as well as emergence of other types of newspapers, the newspaper is still trying to maintain its principles and position, and well carries out the task of popularizing policies of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security to its readers.
Many articles of the Public Security Newspaper win prizes at major press constests such as the National Press Award and Golden Hammer and Sickle Press Award.
On behalf of the PCC Commission for Information and Education, Mr. Le Manh Hung congratulated all staff members and workers of the Public Security Newspaper on the occasion of the 94th Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day and praised the efforts of the biggest press agency of the Public Security Forces in the past time.
He spoke highly of the glorious history of the Public Security Newspaper in popularizing policies of the Party and the State to officers of the Public Security Forces and the people.
The Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education praised the Public Security Newspaper as one of the key press agencies of the country in the fight against allegations and false information of hostile forces.
According to Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education Le Manh Hung, the Public Security Newspaper has significantly contributed to the cause of protecting national security and public order and security.
The newspaper has also have a large number of articles to promote and reflect good examples in the movement of “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and style” and multiply examples of good people and good deeds while strongly criticizing the bad and backward.
