State President Tran Dai Quang chaired the red-carpet welcome ceremony of RoK President Moon Jae-in at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on the morning of March 23.
RoK President Moon Jae-in and his spouse are on a three-day State visit to Vietnam on March 22-24 at the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang. |
This is the first official visit to Vietnam by President Moon Jae-in, aiming to promote the Vietnam-RoK Strategic Cooperative Partnership. |
The RoK is one of Vietnam’s leading economic partners. |
The two Presidents review the guards of honour. |
The two countries’ relationship has developed robustly over the years. The Republic of Korea is Vietnam’s biggest investor with a total investment of more than US$52 billion and Vietnam’s second largest provider of official development assistance (ODA) which focuses on administration, education, water management, and infrastructure. |
