The Chinese delegation is on a working visit to Vietnam to attend the 14th theoretical workshop between the two Parties.

At the reception, the Party chief highlighted the Chinese delegation’s Vietnam visit as a positive contribution to fostering friendship and cooperation between the two nations and welcomed the theme of the workshop, which features Vietnam’s experience during its “Doi moi” (Renewal) process and China’s open-door policy reform.

Regular exchanges between the two Parties in these fields are essential and productive, Trong said, affirming that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always place great importance on developing friendly neighbourhood and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China.

He asked the two sides to maintain high-level delegation exchange and step up cooperation across various fields while intensifying exchanges between Party agencies, ministries, departments, localities, and peoples. Media agencies play a crucial role in reinforcing Vietnam-China relations, the Party leader noted.
