With the practical gifts, the CAND Newspaper, the An Giang Police Force and kind donors hoped to ease difficulties of needy residents, policy beneficiary families and needy civil guards in Long Xuyen City.

Sharing with the CAND Newspaper, Senior Colonel Lam Minh Hong said that, although the An Giang Police force and the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee have striven to improve lives and incomes for the civil guard force, but some have still faced many difficulties, and a few have quit their jobs.

"Therefore, the Tet gifts from the CAND Newspaper and donors will be a source of support and encouragement for the local civil guard force to fulfill their tasks in the fight against crime and ensure security and order and peaceful life in grassroots level", he affirmed.
