Delegation of CAND Newspaper visits the Security Zone 5 Historical Site

PSNews-A delegation of the CAND Newspaper paid a visit to the Security Zone 5 Historical Site in Tra Tan commune, Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam.

A working team of the Quang Nam Provincial Police also joined the delegation.

At the site, the delegation of the CAND Newspaper and Quang Nam police laid flower and paid tribute to Uncle Ho and fallen soldiers who laid down their lives in the Zone 5 battlefield for national independence and freedom.

The delegation also took the chance to lay flower and pay tribute to patriot Huynh Thuc Khang at his Memorial House in Tien Canh commune, Tien Phuoc, Quang Nam and offered flowers in memory of the heroic martyrs at the martyrs’ cemetery in Bac Tra My district.

During the struggle for the national independence, Tra Tan and Bac Tra My districts were the safe and firm revolutionary bases for the Regional Party Committee, the High Command of Military

Zone 5 and various agencies and offices under the military region’s command and leadership; including the Security Office of Military Zone 5.

After the victory and unification, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security decided to invest in building the Historical Site of the Security Zone 5 to express gratitude to fallen security officers in the fierce battles in this heroic land. The historical relic site also plays a significant role in educating revolutionary traditions for the young generation.
