Department of Party Work and Mass Mobilization received 2nd class Fatherland Protection Order

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Deputy Director of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Nguyen Van Ngang; Lieutenant General Tran Ba Thieu, Director of the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Secruty; Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics and generations of former leaders, cadres of the Party Work and Mass Mobilization Department.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Phap, Deputy Director of the Party Work and Mass Mobilization Department recalled the 25-year proud history of the foundation and development of the Department. He recalled that the department was established on October 8 1991 on Decision No. 193 of the Ministry of Home Affairs (the predecessor of the Ministry of Public Security).
After 25 years, under the leadership and guidance of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of the General Department of Politics, the Party Work and Mass Mobilization Department has striven to overcome difficulties and challenges and successfully completed all assigned political tasks.
With these achievements, the Department Party Work and Mass Mobilization was awarded the 3rd class Fatherland Protection Order by the State and certificates of merit by the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission and the Central Public Security Party Committee and many other honors.
Especially, at the grand celebration, the Department also received the second-class Fatherland Protection Order from the State President for its great achievements over the past years.

Authorized by the State President, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh presented the certificate and pinned the insignia of the second-class Fatherland Protection Order onto the unit’s traditional flag.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh lauded the achievements and victories of the Party Work and Mass Mobilization Department during its 25-year history. The Fatherland Protection Order of 2rd Class deserved the great effort of the whole unit over the past years, he underscored.
The Deputy Minister also requested the Department’s officers and soldiers to continuously promote innovation and improve the quality and efficiency of research processes in order to advise and propose measures on promoting Party building to higher levels.
