Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspects task performance of Lang Son Police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security on November 14 led Inspection Team No.3 to work with the Lang Son Provincial Police Department.

According to the report delivered by a representative of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department, the security and social order situation in Lang Son Province was maintained. Criminal offences decreased by 8.96% compared to 2018. The rate of successfully investigated cases reached 87.93% with 100% extremely serious cases solved.

The reception and settlement of denunciations and petitions from people were conducted in line with the laws. Besides, the Lang Son Provincial Police Department implemented the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security on the posting of full-time police officers to commune police posts.

After acknowledging the achievements obtained by the Lang Son Police in 2019, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam emphasized a number of tasks Lang Son Police should continue to focus on in the coming time. 

These include grasping, analyzing, evaluating and forecasting local situations, and deploying forces and professional measures to ensure absolute security and safety for Party congresses at all levels and especially for the XIII National Party Congress.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam asked the Lang Son Police to strengthen cooperation with local organizations and agencies as well as to promote international cooperation with Guangxi Police (China).

* On the same day, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and Inspection Team No.3 visited and reviewed the tasks performance in 2019 of the Huu Lung District Police, Lang Son Province.
