Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam works with Lai Chau Police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security on September 22 worked with the Lai Chau Provincial Police.

At the meeting, Major General Le Van Bay, Director of the Lai Chau Provincial Police briefed on their task performance in ensuring security and order in locality over the past time.

Thanks to their efficient preventive measures, the local police force has controlled the local criminal situation. The local police force also cracked down on large drug rings while providing good advice for local authorities, contributing to strengthening the political system in some complex areas, and carrying out foreign affairs and cooperation on crime prevention and combat.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and praised the achievements attained by the Lai Chau Provincial Police in recent times.

He stressed that in the coming time, the Lai Chau Provincial Police should focus on grasping the local situation and give good forecast about the criminal situation,; and at the same time, actively perform the state management of information security and intensify administrative reforms to better serve the people.

The Deputy Minister also urged the provincial police force to promote in depth and width the movement "All people protecting National Security", replicate outstanding models while being active in coordinating with other forces to ensure security and defense in the province.
