In 2020, the department processed a huge amount of information and data, contributing to ensuring national security, social order and safety. Especially, it coordinated with functional units in protecting security for Party congresses at all levels and the ASEAN conferences.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam spoke highly of the sector’s achievements over the past time.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam asked the department’s leaders and officers to be aware of their important functions and positions in supporting professional operations of other public security agencies and units.
The unit also urged to continue actively grasp the security situation, have plans for all possible scenarios, and join the common effort of other public security agencies and units in maintaining national security, social security and safety.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam visited working offices and tradition hall as well as planted souvenir trees at the headquarters of the department.
