Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 5 led a delegation to work with the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department.

Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, Director of the Provincial Police Department, briefed the working delegation on the local police’s performance of tasks in the past months.
According to him, the provincial police have advised the Party organizations and authority of the province on ensuring security and order, while they actively implemented their working plans and measures to prevent and fight crimes of all kinds, and effectively fought all conspiracies and acts of sabotage by hostile and anti-revolutionary forces.
The Provincial Police Department also settled all issues related to security and order emerging in the province, launched various campaigns to suppress crimes and ensure traffic order and safety as well as prevent fires and explosions, making contributions to the socio-economic and diplomatic tasks of the province.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung applauded the efforts and achievements gained by the Provincial Police Department, particularly in its preparation for the Party congresses at all levels. He also highlighted various issues that the Provincial Police Department needs to focus on in the future.
