Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on March 17 worked with Xuan Nguyen Prison, under the Police Department of Management of Prison, Compulsory Re-education Center and Reformatory (PRRD), located in Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong.

The event saw the presence of Vice Director of the PRRD Major General Hoang Xuan Du, and Vice Director of Hai Phong Municipal Police Department Senior Colonel Bui Xuan Thanh.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung appreciated the efforts of the prison staff in ensuring security and order, and in COVID-19 prevention and combat in the past time.In the context of possible complicated developments in the pandemic in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung asked leaders, corrections officers, guard officers and workers at the prison to continue to take serious measures to prevent the pandemic in accordance with the directions and guidelines of the local authorities.
They should also ensure security, safety and order at the prison, as well as effectively and seriously implement all legal regulations on re-educating prisoners, and enhance their relations with the local authorities and police.
