Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong meets voters in Hung Yen

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, member of the Party Central Committee and member of the Hung Yen provincial National Assembly (NA) delegation on June 23 hosted a meeting with voters of Hung Yen city and Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province.

The event also saw the participation of Mr. Do Tien Sy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Hung Yen provincial NA delegation Tran Van Quy briefed voters on the outcomes of the 14th NA’s third session. After over a month working with a sense of responsibility, the 14th NA’s third session successfully finished the agenda with various important contents.

Accordingly, the NA adopted 12 laws and 12 resolutions, including the State Compensation Law, Railway Law, Technology Transfer Law, Law on guard force, and Resolution on the handling of bad debts of credit institutions... The NA’s members also discussed 6 laws and other important issues.

NA deputies at the meeting then informed the voters of the plan for the 14th NA’s fourth session and the 16th working session of the Hung Yen Provincial People’s Council.

During the meeting, voters in the two localities highly valued the outcomes of the NA’s third session as NA deputies strictly followed the NA’s agenda.

Hung Yen voters said that they closely watched NA meetings and expressed pleasure as the NA’s deputies had conveyed voters' opinions, actively participated in discussions and made positive contributions to the working sessions. All voters at the meeting showed their joy and trust in the leadership and guidance of the Party and management of Government.

Voters also voiced various issues of local concern, including rotating ward or communal-level cadres, reasonably settling remaining land issues,  stepping up lengthy traffic projects negatively affecting agricultural production and local people’s lives, clearing land for projects, thoroughly resettling sand and soil trucks and operation of old-fashioned brick-kilns causing pollution and traffic risks, and policies for national contributors.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong thanked voters' trust in the NA’s deputies, affirming that it will encourage NA deputies to fulfill their duties with the highest sense of responsibility.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security then informed voters of the positive results of the country’s socio-economic development in the first 5 months of 2017 and the 8 key tasks of the Government in recent time.

According to Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong, national security and defense have been maintained, and foreign affairs have seen good performance. The military in coordination with the public security forces actively take effective measures to ensure security and safety for key projects and are always ready to deal with natural disasters.

Meanwhile, the public security forces are effectively fighting and preventing all kind of crimes, maintaining absolute political safety and order in the country.
