At the reception, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son said that in the complex traffic situation in Vietnam, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam hoped to promote cooperation with traffic police agencies of ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, to exchange information and experience in traffic management.
He also suggested relevant agencies of both sides further coordinate to advise leaders of the two sides on effective ways to promote cooperation.
Mr. Halim Pagarra thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son for his kind reception and emphasized that he would do his best to promote the fine cooperative ties between the MPS of Vietnam and the National Police of Indonesia in general and between the Traffic Police Department of Vietnam and the Traffic Police Agency of Indonesia in particular.
