Deputy Minister Son noted that Dak Nong is a mountainous province with a long border line with Cambodia. In recent years, uncontrolled flows of people from other areas, mostly Northern provinces, have moved to Dak Nong, which has triggered a complex situation of local security and order, facilitating the emergence of crimes. As a result, the provincial police force should make more effort to manage the situation.

He asked the provincial police to enhance attack on all kinds of crimes, particularly theft, gambling, drug-related crime and deforestation in order to protect the peaceful life of the people.
