Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh receives Chinese delegation
PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on November 29 received a visiting delegation of the Party Committee of China’s Public Security Ministry, led by its Deputy Secretary Wu Tao.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh welcomed the Chinese delegation and affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to developing stable, healthy and sustainable relations with China, and that Vietnam considers China a top priority in its foreign policy, which is based on the principles of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification, and for peace, cooperation and development in the region.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also emphasized that the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and the law enforcement agencies of China in ensuring security and order has achieved various good outcomes, contributing to stabilizing the political situation of each country and peaceful life of each people, and served as an important pillar of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership.

Deputy Minister Thanh suggested both sides promote ties by increasing visits and exchanges of senior delegations of the Party and State in the time to come, and well implement the cooperation mechanisms in the key areas of diplomacy and security while enhancing exchange between the two countries’ people, particularly the younger generations, and actively popularizing information on the Vietnam – China friendship to people of the two countries.
Mr. Wo Tao thanked the MPS of Vietnam for the sentiments and effective coordination with the Chinese side, and vowed to do his best to promote relations between the two countries in general and cooperation between the two Ministries in particular.
