Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Bac Kan police

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, on March 5 worked with the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Duong Van Tinh, Director of the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department reported the deputy minister and other delegates on the achievements of the provincial police force in 2019 and the results of its intensive campaign against crimes during the Tet holiday.

The Bac Kan provincial police have maintained local safety and order for the organization of Party congresses of the basic level as well as devised a plan to post full-time police officers to all communes in the province.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and praised the outstanding achievements of the local police over the past time.

The Deputy Minister asked the Bac Kan Provincial Police to fulfill the set objectives.

He also requested the provincial police force to continue grasping the situation and advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on measures to ensure local security and order in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution, contributing to the achievements of the whole Public Security Forces.

At the meeting, the deputy minister presented five computers to the officers and soldiers at the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department and planted trees in the provincial police premises.

* On the same day, the delegation visited two communal schools in Na Ri district and Cho Moi district, presenting 150 gifts tothe disadvantaged students.
