Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, on April 20 worked with the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department, briefed the delegation on the provincial police’s task performance over the past time, saying that the provincial police have mobilized forces and means to ensure local security and social order.

Particularly, they have completed the project on posting professional police officers to communes while well implementing the national population database project following the directions of the Government, the Ministry of Public Security and the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To spoke highly of the provincial police’s efforts and achievements in performing their tasks over the past time.

Regarding their key missions in the coming time, the Deputy Minister asked the police of Binh Duong province to attach importance to  grasping the local security situation and actively advise the local party committees and authorities on measures to ensure local security and social order. They should mobilize forces and means to safeguard the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils for the 2021-2026 term, and other political events in the locality.
