Fire Prevention and Firefighting University opens new academic year
PSNews – The third Division of the Fire Prevention and Firefighting University (based in An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province) kicked off the new academic year and launched the new academic year emulation campaign on October 31.

Major General Do Ngoc Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics attended and addressed the event.
According to Major General Nguyen Manh Ha, Rector of the university, the 2016-2017 academic year marked the fourth times the university has offered the intermediate technical course on fire prevention and firefighting and rescue.

Despite difficulties, the university has managed to fulfill all given tasks.
On behalf of the leadership of the General Department of Politics, Major General Do Ngoc Can sent his best regards to the university and highly appreciated the achievements gained by the university over the past years.
Major General Do Ngoc Can urged the university to strive to turn out a stronger fire prevention and firefighting police force to meet the requirements in the new context, requiring the university in general and its three different divisions in particular to focus on grasping and implementing effectively the assigned education and training tasks in the new academic year.

Major General Do Ngoc Can pointed out six goals that the university needs to fulfill in the new academic year. He also emphasized the task of building and developing technical facilities for the purpose of education and training.
