HCMC Police launch its Command and Information Center

PSNews - Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has basically completed key items of this project. The center has been test-run successfully and put into operation.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department on June 30 launched its Command and Information Center. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

At the event, Lieutenant General Le Dong Phong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department stated that, following the approval of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and local authorities, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department exerted all-out efforts to implement the project "Building a modern Command and Information Center of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Police Department".

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has basically completed key items of this project. The center has been test-run successfully and put into operation.

The Command Information Center of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department is a complex system with modern technologies from advanced countries in the world.

The center can connect with wired, wireless and satellite communication and information systems as well as share information with the Command and Information Centers of the Ministry of Public Security and other local police.

This center will help the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department enhance the capacity monitor security and order in the city; actively detect criminal subjects and deal with complicated situations regarding security and order; effectively serve leaders at all levels in leading local police forces to settle and handle security and order situations in the city.
