Ha Tinh police help local people overcome consequences of tornado

PSNews - The Police Station of Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh mobilized 120 officers and soldiers to Ky Hoa, Ky Nam and Ky Ha communes to help people overcome aftermath of a recent tornado which caused great damages to central Vietnam.

The tornado on August 29, blew off roofs of 41 houses, broke various electricity poles and uprooted hundreds of trees, and injured several people.

Under the direction of the Director of the Provincial Police Department, police officers of Ky Anh town were deployed to help local people overcome the consequences of the tornado.

The police officers teamed up with local people in rebuilding their houses, clearing off dredges and cleaning rural roads, remove fallen trees, and provided support for poor and elderly people.

Reportedly, a charitable team of the Provincial Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh visited and donated 50 million Dongs to family of Doan Thi Phuong, whose house completely collapsed, and presented 5 million Dongs to each of 14 households whose houses were seriously damaged, and 2 million Dongs to each of 6 other families suffering damages in Ky Hoa commune, Ky Anh town.
