The ceremony to hand over the house of compassion was held on January 7. Nguyen Thi Mai’s family was in a special difficult state. Generations of her family have lived together in a small and dilapidated house for many years in Ho Tu Noi village, Doan Lap commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city.

To support Mai's family to overcome the housing difficulty and gradually stabilize their lives, the Women’s Union of the Hai Phong city's Hong Bang District Police decided to support her family VND 30 million.

The event is part of a meaningful program in responding to the campaign of building "loving homes" for poor women, women with disabilities, and women in extremely difficult circumstances of the Hai Phong Municipal Police Department..

At the handover ceremony, Mai's family expressed happiness while receiving their new house. They thanked the Public Security Forces in general and local police in particular for their great care for the poor, saying the house will help them stabilize their lives and escape from poverty.
