Hai Phong Police urged to enhance fight against all kind of crimes

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Party Central Committee’s member, attended the event. The conference also saw the participation of leaders of Hai Phong city and units under the Ministry of Public Security.

Reports delivered at the event read that, the Hai Phong police forces in 2020 have advised local Party committees and authorities to ensure security and order in the city. They also deployed effective measures to maintain absolute safety for all political, economic, cultural and social events in the city.

The Hai Phong Police also made a big success in the fight against crimes, law violations. Particularly, the local police force resolved many cases of economic crime, trade fraud, environmental crime, and destroyed several criminal gangs and rings, including those involved in drug trafficking.

The police force in the Northern port city also participated actively in prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, and took effective measures to promote the “All people protecting National security”.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong acknowledged and appreciated the achievements gained by the city’s police in 2020. He asked the provincial police to effectively advised the local Party committees and authorities at all levels on policies related to ensuring security and order.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security also urged the Hai Phong police to enhance the fight against all kind of crimes, especially interprovincial crime, hi-tech crime, economic crime, environmental crime and drug-related crime.
