Leader of MPS praises Excellent public security graduates in 2016-2020 training programs

• 197 typical teams, individuals in “All people protect national security” movement nationwide honored
• Typical examples of communal police force honored
• MPS honors typical models and individuals in "All People Protecting National Security" movement

Over the past years, the public security schools have set out specific plans to promote the emulation movement in learning and training with various contents and forms in accordance with the practical situation of each school. These movements have really motivated all students to exert all-out effort to study and train with high results.

At international competitions, Vietnamese public security students won a series of high prizes. Typically, students from the Public Security Academy won a third prize in the ACM / ICPC International Programmer Competition, 2 third prizes in the ASEAN Student Contest on Information Security 2019. 

The students from the People's Police Academy won the first prize in the scientific research competition for police students from Asian countries organized by the Korean National Police University.

59 students praised in this ceremony are the typical individuals in all aspects. They always got high scores in learning and participated actively in scientific researches. They have ethical qualities, a healthy lifestyle, a progressive outlook, and high credibility.

Of the typical students, there are 37 excellent students graduated from domestic public security schools,, 19 others graduating from foreign universities, and 3 Laos students from Laos.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh praised and highly appreciated the achievements obtained by these typical students in learning and training. He said that the students had to overcome various difficult to achieve such excellent outcomes. "They are the excellent examples and nuclei in the emulation movements in training and learning", underscored Thanh.

He instructed the Public Security Department of Training, functional units and public security schools to promote the glorious achievements and closely follow the Resolutions and Directives of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security on fundamentally renovating the education and training in the public security forces.

In particular, Senior Lieutenant General Thanh asked the excellent students to quickly settle down their lives and effectively apply their knowledge and skills acquired at schools to their future  work when they are posted to public security agencies and units, contributing to protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety.
