MPS holds meeting with NA’s members from Public Security Forces
The Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with National Assembly’s deputies working at the People’s Public Security Forces amid the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly on October 22.

The meeting was also attended by Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; other members of the National Assembly working at the People’s Public Security Forces; and representatives of the Central Public Security Party Committee, general departments and units under the Ministry of Public Security.
During the meeting, delegates discussed issues related to the fields of national security, social order and safety, with the aim of actively contributing to success of the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly (NA).

Particularly, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and deputies briefed NA deputies on resolutions of the Public Security Party Central Committee on the force’s main tasks of ensuring national security and social order so that they could reflect the Public Security leadership’s viewpoints at the working session of the NA.
Addressing the meeting, Minister To Lam congratulated the NA deputies on the occasion of the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly.

He stressed that the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly would address many issues regarding national construction and Fatherland protection, which is directly related to the mission of the public security forces. He requested that the Ministry of Public Security should well preside over the discussions of three bills and its NA deputies should actively contribute ideas for the remaining bills at this working session of the NA.
Minister To Lam also emphasized the importance of this working session in order to improve the law-making process and law enforcement for the People's Public Security Forces.
