MPS works on bills for submission to the NA

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, chaired the working session on September 26 discussing the bills for submission to the National Assembly at its second session.


This working session were attended by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Representatives from units under the Ministry of Public Security and member of the NA from the People's Public Security Forces.

The bills, brought up for discussion at this session were important. They were built to concretize the 2013 Constitution and to improve the legal system of the State. The bills are also expected to improve management efficiency of the State by law to meet the requirements of building a law-governed socialist state.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam emphasized the important of this working session in order to improve the law-making programs and law enforcement of in the People's Public Security Forces.

Ministry of Public Security will hold a research and the reception of comments in order to improve the quality of activities of the member of the NA from the People's Public Security Forces, he added.

The second session of the 14th National Assembly plans to organize from October 20 to November 18. At this session, the law-making body will discuss and pass four bills and comment on 14 other law projects.

Ministry of Public Security will preside over 3 bills and contribute ideas for the remaining bills.
