MPS holds seminar themed “Party, Uncle Ho, People and People's Public Security Forces”

PSNews - The Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a scientific seminar themed "Party, Uncle Ho, the People and the Public Security Forces" on August 3.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh Assoc. Prof. Dr., Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the seminar.

Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that the scientific event aimed to highlight the role and position of the Party, Uncle Ho and the people for the Public Security Forces as well as the 75-year glorious heroic history of the Public Security Forces.

At the seminar, delegates reconfirmed the comprehensive absolute and direct leadership of the Party over the Public Security Forces as the decisive factor leading to the achievements of the forces. They analyzed and clarified President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts about the building and development of the People's Public Security Forces as well as his teachings to the People's Public Security Forces.

The delegates also assessed the achievements and contributions of the Public Security Forces to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country, especially in the context of national industrialization, modernization and international integration, and pointed out the responsibility of the forces in protecting the Party, the State, the people and the socialist regime in the current situation.

To conclude the seminar, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh asked the Public Security Academy of Politics to record all ideas from the delegates and advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership to apply them in building revolutionary, professional, elite and gradually modernized Public Security Forces.
