MPS leaders work with Hanoi authorities

PSNews - Recently, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) had a meeting with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hanoi to discuss plans to build new headquarters of the MPS in the city. Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the MPS leadership, Minister To Lam thanked the Hanoi leadership for their support for the Public Security Forces over the past time.

According to the Public Security Minister, the Party Committee, People's Committee of Hanoi and their subordinate agencies have been greatly supported the MPS in building headquarters and barracks for public security agencies and units in the city. So far, most agencies under the MPS stationed in Hanoi have basically had good offices and working places suitable for the urban development planning of the capital.

However, some old offices of ministerial-level public security agencies in Hanoi need to be renovated while other need to be expanded to meet the current situation.

Minister To Lam stated that the MPS wishes to receive support from the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee and People's Committee so that the ministry can invest in new modern synchronous office buildings and barracks, including the Headquarters of the MPS, in line with the city’s urban development scheme.

At the meeting, Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue and Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh affirmed, the city’s leadership supports the idea of the MPS and will further consider about the building of the MPS’s new headquarters.

At the meeting, functional units under the MPS and Hanoi city discussed plans for the construction of the MPS headquarters. They also showed their determination to realize the plans in the near future.
