MPS presents medal to Chief Representative of the Ministry of State Security of China

PSNews - The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, on December 11, held a ceremony to present “National Security Protection” medal to Mr. Wang Ji Zhou, Chief Representative of the Ministry of State Security of China.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Mr. Xiong Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam as well as other international and domestic delegates.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh stressed that Vietnam and China are the two neighboring countries enjoying a long traditional friendship. The Vietnam - China comprehensive strategic partnership, over the past time, has been developing positively and comprehensively in all the fields such as politics, economics, security and national defense. 

The cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of State Security of China has also achieved many positive results, contributing to protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety of each country.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh spoke highly of the positive contribution of Mr. Wang Ji Zhou during his term of office in Vietnam. Deputy Minister Thanh hoped that Mr. Wang Ji Zhou, in spite of his position in the future, would continue to make important contributions to the bilateral relations between the two countries in general and cooperation between the two ministries in particular.

Mr. Wang Ji Zhou thanked the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for acknowledging and appreciating his work in Vietnam. He also pledged to support relations between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of State Security of China and other Chinese law-enforcement agencies.
