The political security, social order, and safety at the grassroots level have been ensured, thanks to the professional community police.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam recognized the important contributions of the communal police force to the overall achievements of the People's Public Security Forces.
The Minister emphasized that commissioned communal police officers have close ties with people in localities. They also have experience in dealing with security-related situations at the grassroots level.
Therefore, he asked public security agencies and local police forces to pay more attention to training and improving the quality of regular communal police officers in the coming time.
Minister To Lam also requested public security agencies and local police departments to advise the Ministry of Public Security's leadership to provide sufficient equipment and logistical supplies for the police of communes and townships while reviewing the implementation of the project on building communal police offices and hostels over the past time.
