Minister To Lam hosts Chinese Deputy Minister of National Security

General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, on November 25 hosted a meeting with Wang Yuwen, Deputy Minister of National Security of China. The event also saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.
An overview of the meeting. 

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam appreciated the outcomes of the 5th deputy minister-level security dialogue between Vietnam and China on November 24. That dialogue taking place amid the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrates the appreciation of the bilateral cooperation, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-China cooperation and bilateral political trust.

Minister To Lam emphasized that the dialogue has become an important and effective channel to promote their friendship, mutual understanding and cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples, and between the two ministries.

The Chinese Deputy Minister also highly spoke of the annual dialogue, noted that the cooperation between the two ministries have gained various good outcomes in all areas, especially after the visit by Minister To Lam to China in 2020. 

He expressed his belief that the success of the 5th Vietnam – China Deputy Minister-level security dialogue would contribute to perfecting the cooperation mechanism between the two sides, enhancing efficiency of cooperation and meeting all requirements of crime prevention and combat in the new situations.
