Minister To Lam receives EU Ambassador
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam,Minister of Public Security received Ambassador Bruno Angelet – Head of the European Union Delegation to Vietnam on June 30 afternoon.

At the meeting, Minister To Lam expressed his delight at positive and strong developments in the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and EU over the past nearly 27 years.
In particular, the two sides have concluded negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and have implemented a Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation (PCA).
Minister To lam noted that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam highly appreciated the EU’s goodwill and actual outcomes of the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and EU in many fields.
He also said that the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry also highly valued efforts of EU members such as the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Belgium in sharing experiences and supporting Vietnam in implementing the United Nations Convention against Torture, via many workshops, training courses and meetings of the United Nations in Geneva (Switzerland), in May.
He hoped that Ambassador Bruno would continue contributing to strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and EU, especially in dealing with human trafficking, illegal wildlife trade and climate change.
For his part, Ambassador Bruno Angelet thanked Minister To Lam for the warm reception. He underscored that the strategic partnership between Vietnam and EU has been growing in many fields
He iterated that in the spirit of cooperation and respect, the EU will continuously cooperate with Vietnam in general and with the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry in particular, for more fruitful results in the time ahead.
