Ministry of Public Security sends anti-bacterial masks to Indonesian law-enforcement agencies

Under the authority of General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Truong Van Thong, Director of Foreign Relation Department on May 29 received Mr. Ibnu Hadi, Ambassador of Indonesia to Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security also presented 10,000 facemasks to the Indonesian law-enforcement forces via the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam, in support of the Indonesian law-enforcement forces in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Truong Van Thong stated that since the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2013, the relationship between the two countries has been further deepened and achieved many positive results.
On that basis, the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the relevant Indonesian agencies, including the National Police, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs of Indonesia, has been promoted comprehensively, effective and practically, contributing to national security, social order and safety of each country.
Lt. Gen. Thong emphasized that in the context of the complicated and unpredictable situation of COVID-19 in Southeast Asia in particular, the entire world in general, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security would like to join hands with Indonesia's law enforcement agencies to cope with the pandemic by offering 10,000 anti-bacterial cloth masks.
He also hoped that Indonesia, with the full efforts of the Government and the people, will quickly overcome the current difficult period and fully control the COVID-19 epidemic.
Ambassador Ibnu Hadi sincerely thanked the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and Minister To Lam for the support of medical supplies for Indonesian law enforcement agencies. He also affirmed that these anti-bacterial masks would contribute to supporting Indonesian law enforcers in preventing the COVID-19 outbreak.
