Mobile Police Command reviews task performance in first 6 months of 2020

According to reports at the conference, the Mobile Police Force nationwide has secured absolutely 646 targets, 10,455 special government shipments, as well as political, cultural, festive events, and international delegations working in Vietnam.

Particularly, it has reinforced nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers participating in raiding eight criminal gangs and arresting 453 suspects. In addition, around 2,000 officers and soldiers were sent to localities to support functional forces in COVID-19 prevention and control over the past time.
The training and use of police animals continued to be maintained regularly. Recently, the Mobile Police Command has established the Horse-Mounted Police Unit.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung acknowledged and praised the results and achievements of the Mobile Police Command in the first half of 2020.

It should focus on both regular and advanced training plans. In the coming time, the Mobile Police Command should build plans for protecting important events such as the 37th ASEAN Summit, the 13th National Congress of the Party, and major national events.
