PSUTL celebrates 10th founding anniversary and opens 2020-2021 school year

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.
The PSUTL was established based on the merger of the Police School of Communication and Information and the School of Professional Police Technology 3. Over the past 10 years since the school was promoted to a university level, its leadership, education managers, lecturers and students have always united in overcoming all difficulties and successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security.

Since its foundation, the school has organized nine full-time university-level training courses, three higher education level-to-university transition courses, and 13 higher education level courses with a total number of nearly 5,000 students. It also opened 25 refreshment courses for leaders and commanders of public security units and many in-depth training courses for 1,700 public security officers across the country.
Additionally, the university has provided logistical and technological courses at different levels for 321 international students from the Ministry of Security of Laos and the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The contingent of lecturers and educational administrators have developed both in quantity and quality. The PSUTL also conducted many scientific projects at State and ministerial levels. So far, 28 scientific articles written by the school’s lecturers have been published on international scientific journals of the ISI/Scopus indexed list.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the efforts and achievements made by generations of teachers, educational administrators and students at the university over the past 10 years.
On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh extended best wishes to the training staff of the PSUTL and hoped that they will gain more achievements in teaching and doing scientific research, contributing to the cause of ensuring national security, social order, building and protecting the country in the new situation.

* On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh attended the 2020-2021 school year opening ceremony of the People's Security College 1 held in Hanoi and presented congratulation flowers to teachers at the college on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
