Phu Tho Provincial Police rolls out working plans for 2018
PSNews – The Phu Tho Provincial Police held a conference on January 30, to review task performance in 2017 and deploy working plans for 2018, with the participation of Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
In 2017, the Phu Tho Provincial Police closely followed the directions of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Phu Tho's authorities, and carried out various innovations, leading to practical effective outcomes and contributing to successfully fulfilling all assignments in professional work and force building.
For many outstanding results, in 2017, the unit was honored to receive the Government's emulation flag, and this has been the 24th consecutive year the unit has won the flag.
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the ministry, General Thanh recognized and highly appreciated positive results of officers and soldiers of the Phu Tho Provincial Police in 2017.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh stated that the unit actively and effectively advised leaders of the Phu Tho authorities to direct local forces in dealing with social order problems as well as in cracking down on crimes.
He emphasized that the unit should continuously promote their past achievements to implement their working plans for 2018, contributing to ensuring local order, security and supporting socio-economic development and foreign affairs.
Additionally, General Thanh also urged the provincial police force to attach great importance to Party building and force building and intensify efficiency of the state management function of social order and safety.
