Phu Tho police hold 20th Party Congress

The event saw the presence of Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
According to the political report delivered at the Congress, the Party organization of the provincial police closely followed the directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leadership of the Ministry, the Provincial Party and People’s Committees and fulfilled its principal tasks of ensuring security and order, as well as reached all targets set in the previous-term Congress’s resolution.
The provincial police have been honored by the State and the Ministry with Excellent Emulation Flags for the past 5 consecutive years while thousands of individuals and teams of the provincial police have been honored by authorities at all levels.
The Provincial Police Department of Phu Tho and the Police Office for Economic Crimes under the provincial police were presented by the Party and State with the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces.”
Mr. Bui Minh Chau and Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang spoke highly of the efforts and achievements made by the Party organization and Party members of the provincial police over the past time.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang asked the Party organization of the provincial police to successfully fulfill its political tasks, actively advise the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee and Council on policies and measures to ensure security and order in the province.
It should also make recommendations to the Ministry to promptly resolve major issues regarding security and order in the province.
At the congress, delegates elected a 21-member Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
