Police forces in response to incoming tropical depression
Permanent office of Steering Committee for climate change response, disaster prevention and rescuing under the Ministry of Public Security has sent an official dispatch to police units requiring proactive response to the incoming tropical depression.

On October 13, Permanent office of Steering Committee for climate change response, disaster prevention and rescuing under the Ministry of Public Security signed the Dispatch No.15 and sent to Steering Committee provincial fire police forces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai, from Ho Chi Minh City to Bac Lieu and the other relevant authorities.
Accordingly, in order to actively respond to the situation, Standing Office proposed the Steering Committee and police units to seriously implement the Official Dispatch 26 / CD-TW dated 12-10-2016 of the Central Steering Committee for disaster prevention - National Committee for Rescuing, also direct local authorities on response to the tropical depression.
Police units and local authorities closely monitor the tropical depression's developments and coordinate with functional units to strictly manage shipping and fishing activities, ensure safety for people and vehicle.
All police forces are ready in responding when requested. Relevant units to be on duty 24/ 24h and inform daily reports during and after the tropical depression for Permanent office of Steering Committee for climate change response, disaster prevention and rescuing under the Ministry of Public Security.
