At 5.20 pm on January 5, the Song Pe Commune Police Post of Bac Yen District received information that Mr. Lu Van Que (aged 42), a local resident, had a serious accident while mowing grass for cattle.
The patient was taken to the General Hospital of Bac Yen District when he was in a life-threatening situation.
Recognizing the situation, Senior Lieutenant Mui Van Thien, Head of the Song Pe Commune Police Post immediately came to the Bac Yen District General Hospital to donate blood to save Que’s life.
The noble act of Senior Lieutenant Mui Van Thien was highly appreciated by the local doctors and the patient’s family.
His act also contributed to building the image of a brave and humane police officer ready to serve the people.
