Police officers offer free porridge for patients

PSNews- Police of Phan Rang – Thap Cham city with their humanity and affection organize a charity activity called “Meals of compassion”, providing free meals for poor patients every Friday.

In addition to the main tasks of fighting criminals and maintaining security and order, Police of Phan Rang - Thap Cham city (Ninh Thuan province) also take a leading role in various voluntary activities, such as offering free meals for poor patients and their families in Ninh Thuan General Hospital.

The charitable activity of the local police started on April 7, 2017 and is carried out in every following Friday.

Apart from allocating free meals for patients and their families in the hospital’s yard, police officers also bring bowls of porridge to patients who suffer serious illness and are unable to walk on their own.

“We buy fresh, safe and nutritious food ingredients to cook meals for patients. All the officers here feel happy when serving the people, contributing to building a friendly image of police,” said Junior Lieutenant Ta Huu Thanh.

The “Kitchen of Compassion”, offering 150 meals for patients and their families, has received strong support and high appreciation from people, especially needy patients.
