Police quickly clear piles of bricks off road for traffic

PSNews - After an accident, a large amount of bricks fell onto the road causing 2km traffic congestion. Officers of the Gia Lai Traffic Police quickly arrived at the scene and cleaned up the road and guided traffic means to control the situation. 

The incident happened at 9.30am on April 17th at km 1590+900 of the Ho Chi Minh Highway (near residential group 9, ward Yen The, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province) when 2 truck collided, making one overturned and another running out the road.

All the bricks on the truck fell onto the road.

Luckily, the drivers of the two trucks were not seriously injured. However, all the bricks on the truck fell onto the road which stopped the traffic flow and created a long line of vehicles on the road.

Informed of the incident, a group of policemen from the Pleiku Municipal Traffic Police and Gia Lai Provincial Police raced to the scene and removed the bricks, returning the road to the traffic.

Local police are investigating the origin of the incident.
