Traffic Police cleans up the road to maintain safety

PSNews - Knowing large quantities of stones spilled over the road, a group of the Can Tho Municipal Traffic Police quickly moved to the scene to clean up the road and guide the traffic, maintaining absolute safety.

The incident happened at 8.20am on December 16 at National Road 91C in Hung Thanh ward, Cai Rang district, Can Tho city when a truck dropped the stones on the road and then went away.

Informed of the incident, a group of the Can Tho Municipal Traffic Police quickly moved to the scene then used borrowed instruments from local people to clean the road.

After nearly half an hour, the mess was finally cleared up.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Tam, Head of the Can Tho Municipal Traffic Police, the small stones posed potential risks to running vehicles and people. As traffic police with its main role in maintaining traffic safety, we immediately assigned a group to the scene to clear up the strewn stones and guide the traffic.

Earlier, on December 15, a group of the Ninh Kieu District Traffic Police (Can Tho city) also supported a truck’s driver in cleaning the spill on the road and guide the traffic.

After cleaning up the road, Senior Lieutenant Phan Huy Xuan, official of the Ninh Kieu District Traffic Police, said: ''Not only me but any other policemen would do the same thing to maintain traffic safety. ''
