Public Security Newspaper offers incense to martyr Vo Thi Sau

PSNews – On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers, the Public Security Newspaper held many practical gratitude activities across the country. 

On July 25, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor in Chief of the Public Security Newspaper (PSN); Senior Colonel Tran Kim Tham, Deputy Editor in Chief of PSN and a delegation of PSN offered wreaths and incense at the Memorial House for Martyr Vo Thi Sau, Hero of Vietnam People’s Armed Forces, in Dat Do town, Dat Do district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

Major General Pham Van Mien wrote in the memorial notebook: "We, your comrades of the next generation, promise to exert all out efforts to build a clean and elite public security force, and to develop PSN as an strong organ of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security and a reliable forum of the people in national security protection."

Then, the delegation also offered incense at tombs of martyr Vo Thi Sau’s parents. After that, Major General Pham Van Mien and a representative of NTK Mechanical Company presented five gifts worth VND 15 million in total to two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of martyrs and wounded soldiers in Dat Do district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. 

On behalf of the Party Committee of PSN, Major General Pham Van Mien expressed his deep gratitude to martyrs and wounded soldiers for their great sacrifices in two national struggles against enemies.

A representative of the Dat Do District People’s Committee sincerely thanked the Public Security Newspaper for its regular supports for families of martyrs and wounded soldiers in the locality over the past.

Earlier, on July 24, Editor in Chief Pham Van Mien and PSN’s delegation were in Tien Giang province to pay tribute to martyr Tran Van Tram, who heroically sacrificed himself amid the national historic moment of April 30, 1975. Martyr Tran Van Tram is the father of Senior Colonel Tran Kim Tham, Deputy Editor in Chief of PSN.
