Public security athletes compete in table tennis and taekwondo
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on September 16 kicked off the table tennis and taekwondo competitions within the framework of the 8th Public Security Sports Festival in Phu Tho.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Ho Dai Dung.
The Sports Festival takes place from August 2019 to August 2020 with 13 sport events. 500 coaches, athletes and support staff from 52 table tennis and taekwondo teams compete in various categories from September 16 to 21.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang thanked the Party committees and authorities in Phu Tho for their supports to the festival.
He asked all athletes to compete with the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, honesty and nobility, and strive to win the best results. He also asked the empires to uphold the sense of responsibility to ensure the quality and efficiency of the tournament.
