Public security education sector asked to contribute to developing human resources

Reports at the event read that, in 2020, despite various difficulties, the Department of Education and Training under the Ministry of Public Security well performed its duties and achieved outstanding results in all working aspects.
The department advised the Ministry off Public Security’s leaders on measures to improve the efficiency and quality of education and training in the Public Security Forces in line with the new organizational apparatus of the forces.

The public security education and training sector also coordinated with functional units inside and outside the Public Security Forces to solve limitations in State regulations on education and training work to successfully apply them to the public security education and training institutions.
The department also reviewed education and training programs, proposed new education and training contents for refresher courses, coordinated with other police units to build capacity of professional police officers to be posted to communal police posts.

For their excellent achievements, a number of officers and subunits of the department have been honored with noble titles, awards from the Ministry of Public Security.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised all efforts and achievements of the department in 2020.
He also asked the department to further renovate training programs and apply modern teaching and learning methods. He stressed that the public education and training sector should actively participate in developing human resources for the Public Security Forces, contributing to meeting the task requirements of the forces and promoting national socio-economic development in the current context.
