Public security health sector rolls out working plan for 2021

Over the past time, the public security health sector has advised leaders of the ministry and public security agencies at all levels to take drastic measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Public Security Forces.

Hospitals and medical facilities of the Public Security Forces have improved the capacity and quality of medical examination and treatment services for public security officers, soldiers, and people. Many provincial-level public security hospitals have actively cooperated with central-level hospitals to develop specialized medical techniques related to endoscopy, dialysis, lithotripsy, and surgery.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the public security health sector to effectively implement the Resolution of the 7th Public Security Party Congress and the directives of the Minister of Public Security on the missions for the Public Security Forces in 2021 as well as develop specific working plans to well perform their professional tasks in the coming time.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the public security health sector should expand cooperation with medical training institutions and hospitals outside the Public Security Forces to improve professional qualifications of public security medical workers.

They should further realize the Master Plan on developing the public security health network from now to 2030 while accelerating projects on construction of hospitals, and investment in healthcare equipment and facilities.
