Reputable individuals of ethnic minorities in Thanh Hoa praised

PSNews – The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a meeting on December 11 to honor the reputable individuals of ethnic minorities in Thanh Hoa. 

Thanh Hoa province has 11 mountainous districts, home to seven ethnic groups: Kinh, Muong, Thai, H’mong, Dao, Kho Mu and Tho.

At the meeting, village elders, heads of villages and reputable individuals in the ethnic groups of Thanh Hoa thanked the Directorate Board of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police for hosting the meaningful meeting.

Major General Trinh Xuyen presenting certificates of merit to 10 excellent individuals in the movement “All people protecting national security”.

They also briefed participants on the situations of their localities, particularly issues regarding economic development, social order and security, and voiced the common desire of the ethnic minorities to reduce poverty and improve their living standards.

At the same time, they also promised to continuously popularize and mobilize their communities to seriously follow resolutions and policies of the Party, the State's law, contributing to building up the national unity bloc.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Trinh Xuyen, Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police highly appreciated the great contributions and important role of the reputable individuals of the province’s ethnic minority groups in socio-economic development, security and defense. He also expressed empathy for the remaining difficulties of ethnic minority people in Thanh Hoa.

Additionally, he requested village elders and heads of villages to continuously promote the tradition of national unity and support ethnic groups in implementing resolutions and policies of the Party as well as the State's law.

On this occasion, Major General Trinh Xuyen presented certificates of merit to 10 excellent individuals in the movement “All people protecting national security”.
